《Day of zombie》 suggests a customized thinking of combat. Soldiers have their own advantages and disadvantages against enemies. It is vital for commanders to appropriately use formation and positioning to win. 

　　There are four soldier types. Warrior: Horizontal AOE Attack: Damage all targets on horizontal direction. Doing single attack, Damage one enemy target. Vertical AOE Attack, Damage all targets on vertical direction. All Direction AOE: Damage all targets

　　Commanders need to know your troops well before encountering opponents or zombie army. Buff and debuff relationship among all soldiers is the key to win. 

　　Appropriate formation and positioning could empower your troop to perform better in a combat. Commanders need to know not only your own troop well, but also your enemy’s formation and troops. You can rearrange your formation and soldiers before entering a combat. And you are not allowed to enter a combat with an empty formation. 

　　Remember this. You will permanently lose 20% of your troop. You can heal the rest 80% of your troop by spending Gold or Diamond. The combat cost increases when commander’s troop becomes more powerful. Victory with minimum loss and cost is every commander’s ultimate goal.
